Thioreactive Polymers

Thioreactive polymers are dextran or polyvinyl alcohol modified with thioreactve groups along the backbone. They can be covalently crosslinked to form hydrogels.

  • FG: Fast-gelling thioreactive polymers. Hydrogel formation occurs within seconds to 5 min.
  • SG: Slow-Gelling thioreactive hydrogels. Hydrogel formation occurs within minutes.
