Setup of 3-D Life Hydrogels

Use this form to calculate the volumes of gel components required for the setup of 3-D Life Hydrogels of various compositions.

For detailed information please refer to the Hydrogel User Guide and protocols for each type of gel.

  1. In the first row enter the stock concentrations of your 3-D Life reagents. This can be the concentration of stock solutions of the products or dilutions you have prepared from the products. Note that there are two different stock concentrations of crosslinkers:
    • PEG-Link and CD-Link: 20 mmol/L thiol groups
    • Hylink and CD-HyLink: 10 mmol/L thiol groups
The product stock concentrations (except for the crosslinker) are already entered.
  2. In the second row enter the final crosslinking concentration, the final concentration of AgaFloat and the final concentrations of added peptides and/or Thioglycerol.
  3. In the third row enter the volume of your biological sample (e. g. cell suspension, tissue pieces) and the total hydrogel volume.
  4. Click "Calculate volumes" to receive your pipetting protocol.
  5. Red bordered fields are mandatory to allow the calculation of a gel composition.
