RGD sequences are motifs on extracellular matrix proteins (e.g. Fibronectin) promoting adhesion to cellular integrin receptors. The 3-D Life RGD Peptide contains a RGD motif and a thiol group on the N-terminus for attachment to the hydrogel matrix.
